Terms & Conditions
1. Services Provided
UnClutter & More (“the Company”) provides junk removal and related property services to residential and commercial customers. Services include, but are not limited to:
General junk removal and cleanouts
Carpet removal
Yard waste and leaf removal
Renovation and construction debris removal
Snow removal
Vehicle removal
Hauling services
Small landscaping jobs
Minor garage door repairs and fixes
The services listed are not limited to those shown above. Any other services requested by the customer and approved by the Company will be covered under these Terms & Conditions.
The Company reserves the right to refuse any item or service that is unsafe, prohibited, or outside its operational capacity.
2. Estimates & Scope of Work
All estimates and quotes are based on information provided by the customer at the time of booking.
Pricing may change if actual job conditions differ from those disclosed by the customer.
Any additional work outside the original scope will require customer approval prior to proceeding.
3. Pricing & Payment
All pricing is agreed upon prior to the commencement of services.
Payment is required before work begins unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Company.
Accepted payment methods include cash, Interac e-transfer, credit/debit card, payment link, or other Company-approved methods.
Payment is considered complete only when funds are successfully processed and confirmed.
Failed, declined, disputed, or reversed payments will be treated as non-payment.
The customer acknowledges and agrees that their payment card information may be securely stored on file for billing and authorized charges.
4. Late Payment Policy
Payments not received within two (2) days of the service date may be subject to a late fee of $10 per day
.
Unresolved accounts may be referred to a collection agency, with all associated costs charged to the customer.
5. Taxes
All prices are exclusive of applicable provincial and federal taxes unless otherwise stated.
Taxes will be applied in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
6. Accepted & Restricted Items
The Company accepts most household, office, and construction debris.
The Company does not remove hazardous or prohibited materials, including but not limited to:
Chemicals
Asbestos
Fuels
Biohazardous waste
Restricted materials require prior written approval and full regulatory compliance.
7. Scheduling, Cancellations & Delays
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $50 cancellation fee.
Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $25 rescheduling fee.
Weather conditions, access issues, or unsafe environments may result in rescheduling without
liability.
8. Access & Safety
Customers must provide clear, safe, and unobstructed access to all work areas.
The Company reserves the right to refuse or suspend services if conditions are deemed unsafe.
9. Liability
The Company is not responsible for:
Pre-existing damage
Damage to driveways, landscaping, doors, or surrounding areas caused during normal service operations
Hidden structural issues or items breaking during standard removal or handling
10. Donation & Recycling
Items may be donated or recycled when feasible at the Company’s discretion.
All donation and recycling decisions are made solely by the Company.
11. Agreement
By scheduling services with UnClutter & More, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including pricing, payment requirements, late fees, cancellation policies, and liability limitations.
